Role Purpose

The Performance, Compliance & Audit Intern will support the oversight function by using data, reviews, and audits to protect the company's reputation, improve outcomes, and drive continuous operational improvement. This role ensures agents, candidates, and internal teams operate within established guidelines, contractual obligations, and ethical standards.

Core Responsibilities

Contract & Policy Compliance

  • Assist in auditing compliance with agent-company agreements including placement fee structures and commission terms
  • Support investigation of potential contract breaches by agents or candidates
  • Review consent, OTP usage, data handling, and system access logs
  • Help ensure all actions taken on behalf of candidates are properly approved and documented

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze platform data to measure agent success rates, project completion rates, and assessment trends
  • Assist in developing performance dashboards and reports for leadership
  • Translate raw data into actionable insights and improvement strategies
  • Help identify systemic issues rather than focusing only on individual failures

Quality Assurance & Risk Management

  • Support random and targeted audits of agent activities
  • Help identify operational risks including security vulnerabilities and process gaps
  • Flag high-risk behaviors early and assist in proposing preventive controls
  • Ensure consistency in enforcement of standards across all agents

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend updates to SOPs, guidebooks, and training materials based on audit findings
  • Collaborate with operations and training teams to improve workflows
  • Track the effectiveness of changes implemented after audits
  • Help create performance benchmarks and success indicators

Dispute Review & Investigation Support

  • Assist in reviewing escalations involving candidate complaints and agent misconduct
  • Support fair, documented investigations
  • Help provide objective findings and recommendations to management
  • Maintain confidentiality and neutrality at all times

Required Qualifications

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Business, Finance, Auditing, Operations, or related field
  • Basic data analysis skills (spreadsheets, reporting tools)
  • Ability to interpret performance metrics and behavioral data
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills

Analytical & Critical Thinking

  • Ability to identify trends, patterns, and root causes
  • Strong attention to detail without losing the big picture
  • Comfort working with incomplete or evolving data
  • Objective decision-making under pressure

Communication & Soft Skills

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to explain findings without blame or bias
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Calm, fair, and impartial demeanor
