About the Role
At Rework, we believe that every freelancer deserves more than just a platform—they deserve guidance, support, and dedicated help to navigate the complexities of remote opportunities. That’s where our Personal Guides come in.
As a Personal Guide, you are the right hand of freelancers—working behind the scenes to handle the day-to-day admin, prep, and onboarding tasks so freelancers can stay focused on delivering great work. You’ll be assigned to specific agents who oversee multiple freelancers, and you’ll serve as a direct liaison, helping freelancers meet deadlines, prepare for applications, pass platform assessments, and settle into projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Application Assistance: Apply to job/project listings on behalf of freelancers in coordination with their assigned agent.
✅ Testing & Exam Prep: Schedule and facilitate test preparation and assessments for freelancers to increase success rate on technical or client-required evaluations.
✅ Freelancer Onboarding: Guide new freelancers through the Rework onboarding process, including profile optimization, document setup, and project-readiness.
✅ Daily Support & Task Management: Track freelancers’ to-dos, remind them of deadlines, and handle repetitive tasks like uploading materials, tracking responses, and follow-ups.
✅ Agent Collaboration: Work closely with Rework agents to align on freelancer goals, needs, and activity flow.
✅ Report Building: Provide progress updates, status reports, and insights about freelancers’ application and onboarding stages.

Requirements
Prior experience as a virtual assistant, freelancer support, project coordinator, or customer success rep is a plus.

Whether it’s answering inquiries, resolving technical issues, or guiding users through the platform, your role is to make sure help is always available and professional.

Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming queries via chat, email, and support tickets in a timely and friendly manner.
Troubleshoot technical and platform issues and provide clear, actionable solutions.
Guide freelancers, agents, and clients through onboarding, job applications, and platform features.
Document and report recurring issues and user feedback to help improve the platform.
Maintain and update the internal knowledge base, user guides, and FAQs.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to escalate bugs and technical matters.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
