Acceptable Use Policy
Prohibited conduct, platform abuse, security restrictions, and enforcement procedures.

1. General Prohibited Conduct
Users of Remote-Works are strictly prohibited from:
- Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information in profiles, applications, or communications
- Impersonating any person, entity, career specialist, or employer
- Engaging in any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity
- Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party platform policies
- Circumventing the Platform to avoid fees or payment processing
- Harassing, threatening, abusing, stalking, or defaming other users, career specialists, employers, or Platform staff
- Posting or transmitting inappropriate, offensive, hateful, or illegal content
- Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, or terrorism financing
- Sharing account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate the system, reviews, or rankings
- Engaging in discriminatory practices in hiring or service provision
- Soliciting users to conduct transactions outside the Platform
2. Technical Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, spiders, or scripts to access, monitor, or copy Platform content
- Attempt to hack, breach, test, or probe the security of the Platform or its infrastructure
- Distribute malware, viruses, trojans, worms, or harmful code
- Overload, flood, or interfere with the Platform's servers, networks, or infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Platform
- Bypass, disable, or circumvent any security features, access controls, or usage limits
- Use any automated means to collect, extract, or mine user information or Platform data
- Access the Platform through unauthorized third-party applications or APIs
- Introduce any technology that could damage, interfere with, or intercept Platform operations
3. Data & Privacy Restrictions
Users may NOT:
- Collect, harvest, or store personal information of other users without their express consent
- Use another user's personal data for purposes other than those authorized by the Platform
- Send unsolicited commercial communications (spam) to other users
- Share, sell, or distribute user data obtained through the Platform
- Attempt to re-identify anonymized or aggregated data
- Access or attempt to access accounts, data, or systems belonging to other users
4. Content Restrictions
Users may NOT post, upload, or transmit content that:
- Is defamatory, libelous, fraudulent, or misleading
- Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
- Contains sexually explicit material, extreme violence, or graphic content
- Promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against any group
- Contains confidential or proprietary information belonging to others
- Violates the privacy rights of any individual
- Is designed to deceive AI systems or manipulate automated processes
- Constitutes unsolicited advertising, promotions, or spam
5. Enforcement & Consequences
5.1 Investigation
Remote-Works reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this Acceptable Use Policy. We may cooperate with law enforcement and legal authorities in investigating and prosecuting violations.
5.2 Actions We May Take
Violation of this policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- Warning notification
- Temporary suspension of account access
- Permanent termination of account
- Removal of content, profiles, or listings
- Forfeiture of pending earnings or escrowed funds
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities
- Legal action to recover damages and enforce these Terms
5.3 Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to support@remote-works.io or through the Platform's reporting features. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
